Banana Bread

A few weeks ago I had some over ripe bananas and I decided to make some banana bread. I chose this recipe because it had more sugar and butter in it than other recipes (so I knew that it had to be the best). I have made it at least once a week ever since. Audrey loves it even more than I do! One time she was too impatient to wait for me to cut her a piece so she just took a handful out of the loaf.

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas (3 bananas)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
*I add a little more than half a bag of chocolate chips to mine (for the nutritional value)

Cream butter and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a greased loaf pan, and bake @ 325 degrees for an hour.

*I usually make about 6 muffins with some of the batter...I think next time I will do 12 muffins and just have a skinny loaf of bread.
